- Please note that for Windows systems you do not need to install Java on your system before installing SOFIE, given that a custom JRE is already embedded in the SOFiE installer package.
- For installation procedure, please refer to the manual "Installation and profile creation" in the documentation section of this website.
Version 5.21 of the Sofie client, protocol "TLS1.2" is supported. This protocol is used to establish https connexions towards SOFiE’s central server. It is mandatory to update any existing client installation before December 1st, 2018 as this protocol will be the only one accepted for https connexions from this point on. A document explaining what to check is available here.
Note: A typing error has occurred in the installation files made available on September 19th, 2018. The version displayed in the login window was "V5.21 20180819" instead of "V5.21 20180919". These installation files have been updated on this September 20th, 2018 but Sofie's features do not change.
