This version implements a set of corrections and adaptations including in particular
- For FATCA documents, the impossibility to load the TIN field with 9 zeros for cases where a Tax Identification Number (TIN) could not be obtained. The Tax Administration now only accepts 9 capital letters "A" or code "#NTA001#".
- A mandatory update of the SOFIE client before December 1, 2018 to align with the latest security recommendations.
SOFiE-SORT: Two new values (X and T) have been added to the list of possible values for the "final version" field in the file name of COF reports.
A new BCL report is supported: SHSGRP.
SOFiE-SORT: New table names added to COF reporting.
Some minor bug fixes.
- ANA Credit report: validation pattern for the agent code has been set to ^[A-Z]+[A-Z0-9]+$
- Files are process in alphabetical order when processed in batch mode.
SOFiE-SORT-Crypt users may save the active user certificate to a flat file. This should simplify things when sending the certificate to the CSSF.
Some minor bug fixes.

- New Ca certificates from Digicert are now included. AN update of the SOFiE client software is requested in order for it to work as of March 15th , 2018.
This new SOFiE version includes the new MIFID II TAF rules. Effective from that date, only the TAF file name will be controlled.
Concerning the EME reports, table W22 is now supported. (Please see page 14 in the following document )
The older version of the TAF reports are extended even after December 31st, 2017.

Bugfix concerning the sending of CRS reports
(SOFiE-BUSINESS)
This update mainly includes taking into account the editor level and the reports of the new common norms for declaration (NCD or CRS, Common Reporting Standard) from Administration des Contributions Directes.
(SOFiE-S.O.R.T.)
It also includes the notion of alternative investment fund managers (type A) at the level of the fund reports (S0103 and S0213).
If your SOFiE application is configured to be updated automatically during the setup. As of the afternoon of 29th march 2017, your SOFiE login screen, main window, and the “Help – About” menu should display “V5.17 20170329”. Otherwise a manual update will be necessary (see the manual for more details).
This update is optional but recommended in the frame and context of this new norm.
- FATCA version 2 editor has been updated
- New reports supported towards CAA (RSO, FRI, RNx). Please contact Cetrel-Securities for more information.
- Some minor bugfixes
- Fix of a bug. In some cases, SOFiE worked fine but wouldn’t write any log file.
- FATCA report: Support o version 2 as defined by the Luxemburgish tax administration (ACD: Administration des Contributions Directes). You will find more information about FATCA 2 on the ACD’s website on the following page: “FATCA” (French only).
- Minor bug fixes
- New data collection CDDP BCL.
- Adding of the report solo EAC (SEACXX – COREP extended).

Because of a bug, when trying to send an erroneous file , the error messages were not shown in the popup window when using the GUI and were not written to the log file. The bug has been fixed.
Some minor bugfixes.
The encryption parameters for the U1.1 reports were updated. Only the customers sending these files (name: U11REP) have to update their SOFiE client installation.
- The following category codes are now accepted for a GIIN code : LE, SL, ME, BR, SP, SF, SD, SS and SB.
- A US formatted TIN has to be a sequence of nine numbers only. The value ‘000000000’ is accepted to indicate an unknown TIN.

Bugfix in the FATCA editor, also known as FATCA GUI, of your SOFiE Business license: The installation of this correction is compulsory if you wish to use this functionality. If you have to send a FATCA file, we kindly ask you to wait until your SOFiE has been upgraded to version 5.10 in order to do your input via the graphical interface to prepare your FATCA reports. If you are not using this functionality, you can wait for the next release that is foreseen in January 2016
