SOFiE Support Release updates Release updates In the upper list, you will find the release notes for each new verison of the Sofie client, starting with version 5.20, release on the 21st March, 2018. The releases are ordered by date in reversed order, newest first, oldest at the bottom. SOFiE V5.26 & V6.01 (2020-11-24) On November 14th, 2020, an updated version of the SOFiE V5.26 & V6.01 client were made available. These two versions contain the same functionalities and differ only in the Java Runtime used. The version 5 series will no longer be maintained after 2020. Please refer to the chapter above for more information. This update includes the following new features: FDBTECH files from BCL are now supported. They replace the former BCLFBR files. Minor corrections In addition, on 30 November 2020 a correction concerning the Anacredit, FATCA and NCD/CRS reports was made to version "5.26". Version "6.01" has not been impacted. There are only a few minor changes. The binary "wget.exe" has been updated. The screen that displays error messages when a file does not validate via the GUI now contains the Sofie version number and the connected SOFiE identifier. It incorporates the latest amendments made to the previous version, "5.22", on March 28th and May 14th. As a reminder, these are the following points: The agreement naming the reports sent by the financial institutions to the BCL, and to the CSSF in copy, has been updated. Entities of type "P" can now send all S* and TPTB* reports, such as S0001, S0213, TPTBBL, TPTBBN. Every S* and TPTB* report can now be sent by an entitiy tpe "P", e.g S001, S0213, TPTBBL. SOFiE V5.22 (20190328) The naming convention for reports sent by the financial institutions to the BCL, and to the CSSF in copy, has been updated. These are the "S0103", "S0106", "S0213" and "TPTOBS" files of the OPCT package. The "reporter type" field now accepts values 1, 5, 6, A, B, I, K, O, P and S. The "declarant type" field now accepts values 1, 5, 6, A, B, I, K, O, P and S as well as NAF. The Tax Administration now only accepts 9 capital letters "A" or code "#NTA001#". - A mandatory update of the SOFIE client before December 1, 2018 to align with the latest security recommendations.
