Since September 2015 Jürg Weber is the new CEO of SIX Payment Services. The Swiss national has substantial international experience in the card business, and was responsible for strategy and business development for a number of different companies. Jürg Weber is the founder and owner of Golden Horn Management Ltd., where he worked from 2000 to 2015. Prior to that, he was CEO of Benkar A.Ş. within Boyner Holding, based in Turkey, from 1997 to 2001 and Consultant and Partner at McKinsey & Co from 1992 to 1997, where he was responsible for establishing a McKinsey office in Turkey. In his former roles as CEO, he successfully launched new credit cards, set up innovative credit card programs and established an effective organizational structure for credit cards within a bank. Jürg Weber holds an MBA, with a major in Finance and Strategic Management, from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He previously studied Civil Engineering at the School of Engineering in Switzerland and Microeconomics and English at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
The CEO SIX Payment Services and the area heads together form the Management Committee of SIX Payment Services. The CEO of the SIX Payment Services business area is also a member of the Group Executive Board of SIX.

Andrej Eichler, Head Financial Industry Services
Andrej Eichler has been Head Financial Industry Services at SIX Payment Services since June 2015. He has 20 years’ experience in payment technologies and processing for banks and most recently held the position of CEO of EGCP, the group-wide card processor of Erste Bank Group. Other previous roles include Vice President for Product Development at First Data, Head of Card Management Development at FIDUCIA IT AG and several management positions at GZS. Andrej Eichler studied mathematics at the Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg. He speaks German, Russian and English fluently.
Markus Melching, Head Operations
Markus Melching has been Head Operations at SIX Payment Services since February 2016. He was previously reponsible for the transformation of the banking operations of Swisscom and for the integration of the operations of Entris Banking in the wake of its acquisition by Swisscom. He also headed up a major strategic banking utility project. Prior to joining Swisscom, he was an entrepreneur in the United Arab Emirates and held a number of management positions at private banks Sal. Oppenheim and Julius Baer as well as in the management consultancy field. He has more than 18 years' experience in heading up operations units in the banking sector and 22 years' experience in the management of very large programs, projects and initiatives. Markus Melching is an associate professor at the University of Fribourg, where he lectures in Information Systems in the Changing World of Digitalization in both German and French.
Roger Niederer, Head Merchant Services
Roger Niederer has been Head Merchant Services of SIX Payment Services since September 2015. Previously, he was Head Operations at SIX Payment Services and Head Card Operations at the former SIX Card Solutions Ltd. He began his career at SIX at SIX Management Ltd and Telekurs AG, where he was Head Accounting, Tax and Treasury. Roger Niederer is an accountant and controller and a Master of Corporate Finance (IFZ Zug/Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts).
Marc Schluep, Head Organizational Development
Marc Schluep has been a Member of the Management Committee of SIX Payment Services since November 2011. He is in charge of Organizational Development, which encompasses strategic development, management reporting, risk management, cross-divisional projects and the CEO Office. Previously, he was Head Corporate Development from 2008, with responsibility for strategic development at SIX Group. He held the same position at SWX Group from 2004. Mr Schluep's professional career began at Arthur D. Little, an international management consultancy, before he cofounded a strategic consultancy company in which he acted as partner. Marc Schluep studied business administration at the University of St. Gallen and Stockholm School of Economics.
