New certificate for www.saferpay.com
Who will configure the certificate in my shop system?
You will usually need to contact the administrator or the party that set up your shop system.
In our Magento installations, we use the official Saferpay plugin provided for integration by customweb. Do we need an update or can we continue using the existing plugin?
You do not need an update and can continue using the existing plugin.
Do we also need a new certificate to access the Saferpay Backoffice using Mac / Linux.
No. Browser certificates are automatically validated by the browser and certificate issuers irrespective of the OS used. It is not necessary to make any changes.
Which systems are affected by the change of certificate?
All systems that specifically check a current valid certificate. For example, if you have entered this manually in your own keystore or truststore. In all other cases, the new certificate will automatically be accepted as trustworthy.
Are there any installation instructions that we should follow for renewing the certificate?
This will depend on your OS or server architecture, any truststore used and the method of renewing certificates used in the truststore. For installation instructions, please contact your system administrator or the support service for your operating system.
We use a Java library. Do we need to renew the certificate as well?
Only if the existing certificate has specifically been placed in a keystore or truststore.
We use the local Saferpay Client. Do we need to create a new key directory?
No. You don't need to create a new key directory. The keys will still be valid.
Does the certificate renewal also affect the SFTP service for CDS files?
No. It only affects www.saferpay.com.
Is it necessary to pre-install the certificate in the browser, or will this also be issued on an ad hoc basis?
Browser certificates are automatically validated by the browser and certificate issuers. It is not necessary to make any changes.

I got a "Connection reset" message. What does it mean?
If you notice a "connection reset", there is a likelihood that you have activated the "keepalive" parameter for your connection.
Saferpay does not support a "keepalive" for the simple request / response server call. We do not provide any support, even if you were able to work with "keepalive" without any problems.
