Battery instructions for terminals

Summer is just around the corner; gardens and outdoor areas at pubs are opening up, and terminals are coming back into use outside with increasing frequency. Hot temperatures can affect the performance of terminals as the battery can overheat - leading to charging problems.

How to protect batteries and extend their service life with our tips and tricks:

  • Make sure that the battery is charged in a place where the temperature does not exceed 40°C. Under no circumstances the terminal should be exposed to extreme temperatures (such as permanent heat sources or sunlight).
  • Avoid letting the battery fully discharge. If the terminal is only charged when it is empty, it will wear out faster.
  • Store the terminal in a cool place when not in use.
