At Worldline / SIX Payment Services, we have made the health and welfare of our staff and customers our highest priority. We have taken all the necessary preventive measures to protect our staff. This is why our employees work from home whenever possible and this until further notice. However, you can stay in touch with us as usual by email or phone.

Currently, many physical stores are unfortunately closed due to the measures taken by the Luxembourg government. If your business is affected by these decisions, we have put in place for you, in collaboration with the clc, the Horesca and the Federation of Craftsmen, a range of measures to support you during this difficult period.

Postponement of the payment of your invoice for the month of April 2020

We offer you to delay the payment of your invoice of April 2020 for the rental and maintenance of your terminal(s) by one month (payment therefore in June only). If you wish to benefit from this extended payment term, please contact us by e-mail at cs_luxembourg@six-payment-services.com before April 30, 2020, specifying your Partner ID / Partner ID which you can find on your transaction notices.

Mobile terminals and online payment solution free of charge

We offer you mobile terminals for free during 3 months so that you can set up or strengthen your home delivery services.

In addition, we are offering for free during 3 months our remote payment solution, Saferpay Secure PayGate, which allows you to accept payments online even without an own webshop.

Delayed entry into force of the "Account Management" fee

Finally, in order to support you even more in these uncertain times, we have also decided, for all of our customers, not to implement and charge the "Account Management" fee this year. The implementation will be reported and first payment will only take place in January 2021.

Important information for open stores

Promote contactless payment

According to the World Health Organisation, avoiding cash payment helps to slow down the spread of the coronavirus. In particular, contactless payment reduces physical contact points during shopping. That’s why, in agreement with the international card organizations Visa and Mastercard, Worldline/SIX Payment Services has changed the limit for entering the PIN code for contactless payments on all SIX Payment Services payment terminals in Luxembourg. The limit has increased from EUR 25 to EUR 50 on 1 April 2020.

As of this date, the new contactless limit will be automatically updated on your terminal after the first transaction. If necessary, you can manually activate the new contactless limit on your terminal by selecting the menu item "5 - Setup" and then "2 - Initialization".

Cleaning instructions

We recommend that you clean your terminal regularly. Clean your terminal with an ethanol-based wipe or use a wet cloth with 70% ethanol. Do not spray cleaning agent or disinfection directly onto your terminal. Do not hesitate to consult all of our online cleaning instructions.
