Migration of PaySquare Belgian portfolio is about to start
Earlier this year, BNP Paribas Fortis reached an agreement with Worldline on its takeover of PaySquare’s Belgian client portfolio in collaboration with its partner SIX Payment Services (see news from the 2nd May 2017). Connections to the POS terminals and e-commerce platform were tested and a few merchants were successfully migrated. The migration of PaySquare contracts for Ingenico terminals distributed by Keyware and for virtual terminals (e-commerce) from Ingenico/Ogone will start in November 2017. Impacted merchants are informed by letter with all the necessary information, such as their new partner ID and their migration date.
After the migration, merchants will receive a daily PDF with details concerning the payment from SIX Payment Services. In addition, all merchants will receive an email from SIX to register for myPayments – the internet portal for customers of SIX Payment Services. This platform provides merchants with online access to the most important details, statistics and information about transactions and payments made through SIX Payment Services. Once they are logged in, merchants have access to a detailed PDF report allowing them to view their transactions from the previous day in a fast and easy way. Merchants with unknown email addresses are invited to complete a webform:
We will migrate the remaining merchants from the Belgian PaySquare portfolio with other connections later in the first half of 2018.
